A biography of three of the four Bradford Brothers: George Nicholson Bradford, V.C., Royal Navy; James Barker Bradford, M.C., The Durham Light Infantry; and Brig.-General Roland Boys Bradford, V.C., M.C., The Durham Light Infantry. Dark blue cloth, bevelled edges, gilt titling on spine and upper board along with gilt crest of the Durham Light Infantry, photogravure frontispiece is triple fold-out portraits of the three Bradford brothers each with facsimile signatures, printed in sepia, 146 pages. Tucked into the book are two newspaper death notices, a page from the British Dominion Year Book 1918 and several pieces of correspondence pertaining to the book or the Bradford family. Cover has light edge wear, corners lightly bumped, cloth and gilt are clean and bright, upper text block edge darkened, minor foxing spots to end papers and occasionally in text, text is clean and tight. This is a handsome volume, in nice condition. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
