Macmillan and Co, 1901. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Ex-libris book from the famous Carlton Club Library. The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked. The corners are knocked and the top and bottom edges of the spine are lightly torn. Despite this, the boards remain strong and square, with gold gilt to the spine. Internally, there is a previous retailer's sticker on the front pastedown, along with the Carlton Club Library plate. There is some light tanning around the edges throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are clean and complete. The binding is secure. In lovely condition considering the fact that it is over a century old. JK. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
