London: New Cavendish Books. Very Good+. 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. 0904568113 . 215 p. 27 x 33.5 cm. oblong Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles and decoration. Tiny scuff mark to the foot of the spine. Gift inscription on the half-title page. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. The sleeve in which the book is houses appears to have some fading to the edges and one side, but may have been issued as such. It has some light shelf rubbing. A beautiful work on the art of British biscuit (cookie) tins packaging design from the mid 19th through pre-World War II. Illustrated in full colour. The book is very heavy and will require extra postage to ship. Please inquire for actual postage cost before ordering. .
