London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1919. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Six volume set. All with years published on title page except for the "July to November, 1918" volume. All maps and plans are present in each volume. Octavos. Uniform blue cloth with gilt-stamped spines. Contemporary owner name and location written on front flies in four of the five volumes, spine ends nicked and worn, corners bumped, 1916 spine sunned, very good lacking the scarce dust jackets. Owner name is of a military captain and transport officer serving in World War I in London.
