Bernard Darwin was one of the most acclaimed of contemporary English Golfing writers and like many in his field has a fine prose style. As such he mixed with men of every profession in all parts of the country and has visited many of the English gentlemen?s Clubs. They are specifically an English institution and have flourished in this country with an individuality and abundance unrivalled any other part of the world, and Mr Darwin makes the most of a subject which is both amusing and interesting. A really nice copy of the 1st. edition, 2nd. impression in this collectable series.
