Bevelled edges. Aeg. 14.75ins x 11ins, volume one: xxvi, 92pp plus 20 full page tissue guarded colour plates. Volume two: [iv], pps 93 to 204 plus 21 full page tissue guarded colour plates. Also b&w chapter heading illustrations of river scenes. The plates were drawn by A.F. Lydon. Previous owners name to half title of each volume. Top & bottom of spines worn. Corners very worn - loss of cloth. Contents VG, boards G+. Scarce.
