Toning/darkening to feps, frontispiece and title. Corner of front pastedown torn with loss. Creasing to title and frontispiece. Occasional spotting, a handsomely patinaed copy.

Historic pressed grasses have been loosely inserted at 269, 303, 337, 351, 419, 431, 437, 499, and at plate 71. A small historic and faded note list of plants loosely inserted.
