Contents include: rganisation of the Sport; The visit of "America|", Racing under YRA Rules, YRA Tonnage Rules, The Sail Area Rule, Modern Yachting 1896 to 1900, Modrn Yachting 1901 to 1906, Early Yachting in Scotland, Development of Steam Yachting, Colonial Yachting, Biographical, Yacht & Sailing Clubs, Indexes. Blue Full-Leather Binding with 4 Raised Bands to spine, Gilt title in 2nd compartment. Gilt Crown at top left and Gilt Title at Bottom right of front cover. Blue & Gilt Marbeled Endpapers. Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. 567 Pages + the Photogravure Plates. 13" Tall. 7.5 Kilos. Some edge wear, rubbing and small scrapes to leather. No inscriptions. Pages and Plates in good, clean condition. Hinges sound. Some pages and plates detached but all present. Size: Folio - over 12 - 15" tall
