Red cloth boards, lettered in black on front cover and spine; red top-stain; dustjacket; 317pp. Clean, tight copy, Very Good to Near Fine, in Very Good example of the uncommon pictorial dustwrapper, with a few tiny losses at extremities and soil to lighter portions of rear panel. Perceptive, if somewhat breezy, memoir of a New York newspaperwoman in the Soviet Union. Smith was married to political cartoonist Ryan Walker, who was in Moscow to attend the October Revolution celebrations of 1931.
