Sobre este artículo

Thomas Burke's escapist mystery stories are a significant aspect of underground and criminal London literature. Perhaps the very opposite of the Golden Age genteel society murder mystery. The stories are from the classic "Limehouse Nights" whose stories feature Chinaman and muscular sensual narratives set in London's docklands with violence, and robbery not far away. This is a first edition in good order for its age - now over 100 years old. The pages are yellowed with age, but all are present. The binding is still good and the design of the covers are bright. They protected by the jacket - still quite colourful. It is nicked at the top and bottom of the spine but still intact. Uncommon in this condition.
