A fine copy in a near fine dustwrapper which is complete and untorn but a little faded towards the foot of the spine. This was a review copy and comes with a typed letter from the publisher, a photograph of the author and a card containing a printed poem by the author on his 90th birthday. The publisher indicates that a copy of the poem would be included with every copy of the book purchased before 31st December 1981. (The book was published on 26th November 1981). 243 pages. Photographic illustrations and head-pieces to each chapter. The autobiography of a man who was Scotland's leading sculptor for many years. An uncommon title and notable for its insight into the Scottish art scene in the early decades of the 20th century.

Blacket Books is the business name of Liz and Ian Laing, who have been selling second-hand and antiquarian books since 1985. We are general booksellers but with some emphasis on Scottish, military and childrens books, and modern first editions. We are members of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) and sell at book fairs throughout Scotland and the north of England.
