Sobre este artículo
New York, New York, U.S.A.: Grosset & Dunlap, 1954. First Edition First Printing 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Book #9 in this short-lived (12-volumes, 1948-1958) girls' series written by Betty Cavanaugh under the pseudonym Betsy Allen, each featuring a "color" in the title connected to a new mystery confronting our heroine Connie Blair, a career girl working at an advertising agency in Philadelphia, PA. This edition is one of the originals with its DJ, NOT the later picture cover reprints from the 1960s. Hardcover 12mo has brown tweed cloth-covered boards with darker brown lettering & profile of Connie on front cover. This is a true FIRST EDITION, First Printing, listing to Self in front matter & on front DJ flap. Condition is Near Fine, marred only by faint mottling to top outside page edges & a very mild rightward lean. Else, completely clean, binding strong, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning, completely unmarked. The unclipped DJ is also Near Fine: colorful & bright with extremely mild rubbing to extremities; nicely protected in clear mylar for you collection. Scarce in such pristine condition! Our photos show the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
