National Book Mart. Fair. 1893. Hardcover. Book is about 3/4 inch thick. Paper over cardboard boards with pretty color illustration of child blowing bubbles, flowers, etc Quite a bit of smudgies and light staining. Open w ear and some damage all around edges. Gray cloth spine is OK but has some damage. Text is tight. Both hinges cracked almost all way through almost allowing boards to come off in one piece. Text is sta pled. All pages have natural browning fro cheap paper. Finger smudgies throughout along with some minor page tearing. All illustrations in shades of blue or green. Lettering in green. Frontispiece ent itled 'The Menagerie'. Some stories and poems are 'From Peep o'Day to Shut-Eye-Town' by Agnes Leonard Hill; Blackberrying by Lucy Randolph Fleming; Bessy's Dream by Grace S. Brown. Etc. Will look up title/author.15-54AA-45. ; 7x10; Unpaginated pages .
