FIRST EDITION in maroon boards with white lettering, lacking the dust jacket. There is a small, decorative bookplate on the front pastedown; there is some minimal sunning to the fore edge of the front cover and slight dulling to the gilded writing on the spine, otherwise - almost fine. Besides various 'children's series novels' referring to the movies by Victor Appleton and Laura Lee Hope, this is one of the first Hollywood novels; a collection of stories by Van Loan, drawn from his experiences in early Hollywood.
