Athens: Ohio University Pres, 1965. First Edition. First printing Fine in decorated brown cloth covered boards with gilt and black text stamping on the spine. In a very near fine dust jacket with a modest amount of wear at the spine ends with 1/4" closed tear and light flecking. The edited extracts from the diaries of two members of the cooperative band of men from Ohio, known as the Buckeye Rovers, who traveled west to the California mine fields in the spring of 1849.
