Sobre este artículo

London: A & C Black, 1920., 1920. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Readable copy. Pages may have considerable notes/highlighting. ~ ThriftBooks: Read More, Spend Less.First edition. Cover and binding are worn but intact. A reading copy in fair condition. First edition, A. & C. Black Ltd., 1920. The text block includes extensive color illustrations by Sutton Palmer. The gutter between the East Garston, Berks illustration and page 169 is moderately loose, partially exposing the underlying mull and binding adhesive. The front and back inner hinges are slightly loose. Teal cloth-bound cover boards are embellished with color imagery and black text. The lettering on the spine shows signs of minor color fading. The spine itself also shows evidence of minor color fading. The head and tail of the spine suffer moderate to severe shelfwear damage. The front and back endpages suffer minor foxing. Some of the pages, including the front flyleaf, page 63, page 65, and pages 70-71, amongst others, show signs of moderate to severe page tanning. The binding suffers severe loosening due to age and wear but remains secure and in-tact; the volume should be handled with care to preserve the binding. The pages are clean and unmarked. Secure packaging for safe delivery.Dust jacket quality is not guaranteed.
