Color illustrated dust jacket. List of the first nine titles in The Buddy Books series on verso of title page. This is the ninth title in the series. The front flap of the dust jacket lists volumes 1 through 20, which was published in 1944; the back section has an advertisement for war bonds and stamps. Gift inscription on front fixed endpaper from Christmas 1944. Ownership section on front free endpaper filled in for E. George Dobash, Nesquehoning, Pa. Book is in Near Fine Condition: clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Good- Condition: loss at ends of spine; closed tears at edges and folds of flaps; tape residue from old repairs at some tears; color on front section is bright.
