Howes W322, Rader 3627, Six Guns 2375, Herd 2499. Wheeler served also as a post trader and Indian agent and was in command of Fort Reno in Oklahoma Territory. Excellent on Indians and Indian government scouts. A chapter on Wild Bill Hickok and one entitled "Western Badmen."
