"The most complete of any of the Greek Revival builder's guides, this work leaves no stone unturned......it was an important book and was favored by builders, probably because of its large scale, folio-sized plates of the orders. Practically all copies found have been given hard use, a sign of the book's popularity." Scattered, mostly marginal foxing, house plates clean, rubbing to extremities and covers, backstrip worn head and foot.
