Sobre este artículo
This book tells the story of the growth of a Kansas City Bank from a one-room storefront bank, founded in 1913 to one of the Midwest's most successful and profitable banking concerns. But, it also tells the more personal story of three generations of the hard working Kemper family. This story tells not only of the family's influence in shaping the growth of the bank, but also of its home community, Kansas City.
This pages of this book are printed on heavy card stock paper and have both photographs from historical archives as well as more current photographs. The book also includes illustrations of the artwork from the collection of United Missouri Bancshares that are so beautiful, they could be framed.
Full disclosure - I worked at this bank in various positions for 41 years. It was a wonderful place to work with wonderful people who cared about their community. The story is interesting, the photographs are wonderful, and the artwork is beautiful.
Book - Near Fine condition. Brown leather over boards with gold gilt text on front and spine. Very minimal edge/corner wear. Clean and tight.
Dust Jacket - Very Good condition. There is a little light rubbing/bumping and a little edge/corner wear with some tiny closed tears at the top.
Please use photos as part of the description.
160 pages including an Appendix. This is a large, heavy book.
