Illustrator: black-and-white plates. second-hand copy, dust jacket is rubbed, with small chips across the top edge of the front panel and spine. The front and bottom edges of the text block have not been trimmed. Previous owner's initials on the front paste down, I can find no other evidence of annotations. Illustrated with full-page black-and-white photographs & line drawings, the 1st appendixes a list of varieties of chill ups, the 2nd appendix is of daffodils, and the book is indexed. "This book places before the American gardener a complete and detailed review of all the better known and many of the rare bulbs that are suitable for culture in the various parts of this country." – Front fold over blurb Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
