Collection of 39 papers based on experiments and studies conducted at Harvard University's Bussey Institution of Agricultur and Horticulture. Isseed as Bulletins, more than half of the papers included in this volume authored by Frank [Francis] Storer (March 27, 1832 July 30, 1914) dean of the Institution from 1870 - 1907. This volume the personal copy of Storer with his bookplate to the front pastedown; several manuscript notes on scrap pieces of paper are tipped in adjacent to papers by Storer with an additional note or reference related to the subject. Bound in 1/4 leather backed spine and marbled paper boards with titles and rules in gilt to spine. Leather lightly scuffed and rubbed at extremities. Expected mild toning to page stock but contents clean and neat. Illustrated with a lithograp plate, may table sand a few figures. VG .
