Sobre este artículo
New York: American Committee for Cultural Freedom, 1955. Newsletter. Seven issues of the four-page, 8.5x11 inch newsletter published by the CIA-backed group, some with uneven toning, one with a closed tear. Issues present are an unnumbered one from March 1951, followed by vol. 2 nos. 1-3, vol. 3 nos. 1 and 2, plus a newsletter from October 1955, and a Fact Sheet on Argentina from June 12, 1953 on the Peron regime's imprisonment of intellectuals in Argentina. Although CIA-funded, many contributors came from the Left (but as critics of communism). These issues include an assessment of McCarthyism as harmful and concerns about the US practice of rejecting visas for former Communist Party members.
