Sobre este artículo

New York: The MacMillan Company, 1933. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Very Good. See scans and description. New York: The MacMillan Company, 1933. First Edition and First Printing of H.G. Wells' "The Bulpington of Blup". Octavo, black cloth boards, gilt imprinting at front cover and spine, 414 pp. Lacks the jacket. Very Good; corner bumping, most notable at top right front corner; fade to the spine imprinting, but not to the spine itself (scan); several small, very faint stain spots on each cover. Tight and firmly bound. See all scans. A psychological treatise-as-novel, the main character being Theodore Bulpington. Intended as a study of psychological roots of opposition to Well's own ideology, as well as something of a look at psychological responses to Word War I. To some degree, and separately, the novel was influenced by Carl Jung and Ford Madox Ford. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. L43n
