Thick Card boards with attached dust jacket, illustrated front and plain white back, spine is not typical but glued to the book block- pieces missing. Previous owners name stamped on half title page. Front of 'jacket', crinkling to spine edge, shows wear to edges. Hinge showing between pages 14/15. Most of the black and white plates are delicately coloured in. Original tipped-in colour plates are in very good condition. Typical thick wartime paper is browning. This lovely early edition of Ida Rentoul Outhwaite is complete: Image is ALWAYS of the ACTUAL BOOK: Book and or Jacket may have names. dedications. marks. tears. foxing. browned pages. creasing and losses unless otherwise noted.. . . . .
