Sobre este artículo

The Burden and the Glory, President John F. Kennedy - Edited by Allan Nevins, with a Special Foreword by President Lyndon B. Johnson - The hopes and purposes of President Kennedy's second and third years in office as revealed in his public statements and addresses.

Hardcover, 1964, first edition, published by Harper & Row, Publishers, New York, 293 pages + xx.

Measures around 8 5/8" by 5 7/8" by 1 1/8". Dust jacket is a bit torn, tattered and chipped with scuffing and marking. Also appears to be price clipped - both flaps appear to have been cut at angles. Black cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine and facsimile signature of JFK to front board, reasonably clean though with a little discolouration to signs of shelf-wear to board edges and spine. Bumped corners. Binding firm. Page edges tanned and a bit scuffed and marked. Outer page edges deckled. Page surfaces clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
