London: Heinemann. Originally written in 1896, this is a children's novel in a series featuring a salty elf named Krab. In this story, the 4 children have been taken to on seaside vacation in Fleetwood which, after two weeks, becomes quite boring. and the sudden appearance of Krab who they had last seen in Ireland sparks great interest. Green cloth covers are lightly worn at the corners & spine ends, the spine being a touch sun-faded. The copy lacks its front free end paper but has been firmly re-glued as was the top inch to the gutter of the front board. The first few and last couple of pages have some foxing. A good solid copy of this hard-to-find book by this noted author who was also a British judge. OUT OF PRINT, hard to find. . Near Very Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. 1927.
