Sobre este artículo
London: Cassell & Company Limited, 1903. Book. Very Good. Full Leather. 4to (approx. 22 x 28cm). One volume complete bound in two. pp. lxxii, 432, 54 fine chromolithographic plates of butterflies and moths but also illustrating life stages and foodplants; 1 plain plate, plus many illustrations in the text. Contemporary full morocco bindings with gilt lettering to the spines, very good with a little general wear and rubbing to extremities and joints, leather a little chipped to head/tail of the spines. Contents clean and tight, neat gift inscription to the front end papers of both volumes, dated 1909. Minimal spotting to a few pages and captioned plate guards; plates all clean. Bound as one volume, this is a large heavy book, so there is a lot of sense dividing it into two volumes, each volume being much easier to handle. A very good clean tight copy..
