A relatively scarce book in its original cloth binding, this book would be rated as very good but for the fact that some thoughtless previous owner clipped three small illustrations from three separate pages, Facsimile pages for the damaged ones are laid in, so that the book can still be read in its entirety, but obviously it has lost some of its attractiveness and so is priced accordingly It still has many other illustrations throughout, including the frontispiece shown in the photos, and the binding and text are in otherwise very sound condition.
