Cambridge: Printed for the Hakluyt Society at the Cambridge University Press, 1964. Hardcover. pp. lxxxii, 230. 8vo. Bound in sky-blue cloth with lettering and decoration in gilt and blind. Maps and illustrations present as called-for. Light shelfwear, bookplate to ffep, red ribbon page marker taped to rfep, contents unmarked, binding sound; very good in good- slightly edgeworn and sunned dustjacket, showing short closed tears and one small chip along edges. Works issued by The Hakluyt Society, Second Series, Part 2, No. 122. "The voyage of the Dolphin. Includes the secret instructions by the Admiralty, a list of the crew, and transcripts of documents relating to the voyage. The appendix, on the Patagonians, includes ‘The Patagonian giants' by Helen Wallis.
