Sobre este artículo
[African American Troops] Reading: New York Gallery, c. 1880. Cabinet card Photograph measuring 4 x 2 ½ inches on larger mount. An unusual cabinet card showing civil war veterans together toasting, with an African-American former military man in the foreground wearing medals on his jacket likely collected at Grand Army of the Republic reunions. All the men look directly at the camera while a dog sits on the table between them. A scarce display of an integrated party of men presumably toasting their civil war era military accomplishments. Near fine condition and rare.
