Sobre este artículo

London: The Gresham Publishing Company, 1905. One of the greatest anthologies of Irish literature, originally published in 1880. This "New Edition" has been "Revised and greatly Extended" by Katherine Tynan Hinkson. Tynan, herself a member, added later Irish authors from the Literary Revival. Four volumes, large octavos (over nine pounds weight together), with decorative cloth binding in two shades of green. The lettering on the spine is gilt. Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copies. " Volume 1: xxxv, 311 pages, frontis portrait of Laurence Sterne, 9 other illustrations; Volume 2: ix, 324 pages, frontis of Thomas Moore, 9 other illustrations; volume 3: 1x, 324 pages, frontis of Charles Lever, 9 other illustrations; volume 4: 1x, 372 pages, frontis of W.B. Yeats, 9 other illustrations, indexed. There is no publication date, but bibliographers seem to agree on 1905. The paper stock is quite "soft" allowing easy reading. There are light bumps and a few scattered "dings," but in general these are Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copies. An impressive set, and rather uncommon.. First Thus. Decorative Cloth. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
