Longmans, Green And Co., 1875. 1st. Hardback. Very Good. First edition hardback, 1875, with no jacket as issued. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - brown bevel-edged cloth boards slightly rubbed and darkened to spine and edges. Internally clean. Binding tight and hinges sound; no annotation or inscriptions; toning to page-ends and a little light scattered foxing to prelims but text bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
