Sobre este artículo
Large 8vo (6 x 9) 565pp, including appendix and alphabetical index. Revised second edition with 1927 approbations. Introductory note from Fr. Bernardinus Klumper, procurator general of the Holland province of the Friars Minor. Structured in four books with explanation of the rituals of the Franciscan Friars Minor, beginning with the monastic horarium, to rites for Solemn Mass, Holy Eucharist, and miscellaneous liturgical ceremonies and functions throughout the year, with an appendix on Pontifical ritual. Detailed instruction for thurifers, lectors, acolytes, choir monks etc.
Bound in black leather with cloth covers which appear to be adhered to the original leather, with the same floral embossment and cross decal. Original leather spine with gilt titles and decoration. Red floral endpapers with red edge stain to pages. Cloth is slightly frayed around edges and loose on the rear panel. Pastedown of vesting prayers for Mass on the free front endpaper. Very sparsely marked in light ink, otherwise contents appear clean though pages are heavily age toned. A serviceably copy with sharp binding. Scarce.
