Sobre este artículo

San Francisco: A. M. Robertson, 1916. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good Plus/Custom Clear Mylar. 168 pp. SIGNED/INSCRIBED by George Sterling in ink as a presentation copy to Sterling's sister on a front free endpaper: "For my darling sister Madelaine with my best love, George. / San Francisco, Oct. 18th, 1916". Green cloth. 5 1/2" x 7 3/4". Some poems pencil-checked. Corrections (by Sterling?) in ink to typos at pages 92 and 162. A group of poems, including those "On The Great War". Poet/Playwright George Sterling (1869-1926) was a resident member of early Carmel's bohemian group and a friend of Jack London, Mary Austin and Robinson Jeffers. His later years were spent in San Francisco, where he died by his own hand in 1926. Mattilla A12. A nice association copy. A Good Plus copy (Soiled covers; ink stain and insect tracings to front cover, spine titling rubbed away; toning to endpapers, front hinge partly open, but holding; edgewear, mainly to spine-ends), now in a custom 4mil clear mylar jacket. ALWAYS FREE SHIPPING of our books in boxes, via media mail, to any United States address.
