Sobre este artículo
[San Francisco]: The California Historical Society, 1973. Poster, 21x16" printed in black on light brown paper. Signed in the lower right by Leah Garchik (perhaps a printed signature), who likely designed the poster. Few light wrinkles from rolling. Near fine.
Poster for a cinemagraphic memorial to Japanese-American relocation during WWII which was created by students and faculty at the University of Delaware. The program was sponsored in California by the Historical Society and likely put on at various schools and institutions. We find mention of one showing cosponsored with the Cal State, Northridge History Club in 1973. The show was described by The Van Nuys News as:
"a three-projector slide show of pictures chosen from the National Archives' War Relocation Authority Collection, followed by two propaganda films made by the War Relocation Authority to convince Americans that the internment of Japanese-Americans was necessary to national security."
OCLC notes just the copy at the California Historical Society.
