This book outlines the experiences of the Latter-day Saints from their first arrival in California to the present. The story began as the sailing ship BROOKLYN arrived in San Francisco Bay in the summer of 1846 with a cargo of three hundred LDS immigrants. Those refugees from persecution in the East soon made Yerba Buena, later to be renamed San Francisco, the first LDS colony in the West. Years later, the small group would become the second largest demoniation in the state. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR.
