Saddle-stapled in illustrated card wraps. 24pp. Moderate foxing/spotting to front cover and underlying leaf; oxidation to staples; musty. Very good. First of two collections of verse by an author who died, apparently quite young, in January 1972; published while she was a student at Northeastern State College in Chicago. Poems exploring various social and political facets of Black womanhood. Introduction by Eugene Perkins. N.B. The second printing amends the title's "Calling" to "Callin'."

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
