First edition. 8vo., pictorial burgundy cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt; t.e.g, untrimmed; illustrated with drawings and photographs. Slight sun to spine; slight rubbing and scuffing to boards, with corners lightly bumped and bearing light wear to cloth. Front hinge cracked. One short edge-tear internally, with a few nicks to the edges, occasional spot of soiling and over-opening. About very good, with very good text and pictures.

Douglass; ""Six O'Clock in Harvard Square"" by Elanor Parker Fiske gives colorful picture of the area a century ago; ""Cambridge as a No-License City"" by Frank Foxcroft (no saloons). ""The Home of Radcliffe College"" by Ada Ruth Kinsman. Burgundy cloth on board with gilt decoration, showing the Washington Elm. Edges rubbed and frayed, top edge of pages gilded. Very good. .
