Important contributions to the northern Arctic Seas, especially to the seas around Nova Zembla, privately printed at the expense of the Duc d'Orléans. The published works consists of 10 parts, as follows: (1). d'Orléans, L. P. R. Duc, Journal de Bord et de Physique du Globe (1911). 99 pp., ten plates, two folded maps; (2) Dautzenberg, P. and H. Fischer. Mollusques et Brachiopodes (1910). 25 pp., map; (3) Fauvel, P. Annélides polychètes (1911). 45, iv pp.; plate, map; (4) Grieg, J. Echinodermes (1910). 40 pp., lithographed plate, two folded maps; (5-6) Meunier, A. Microplankton des Mers de Barents et de Kara (1910). 373 pp., 37 loose plates (I-XXXVI, Ibis) with explanatory text leaves, in two volumes, including a half cloth portfolio with printed boards; (7) Richters, F. Faune des Mousses: Tardigrades (1911). 20 pp., two plates; (8) Stappers, L. Crustacés malacostracés (1911). 164 pp., seven lithographed plates, map; (9) Thoulet, J. Étude lithologique de fonds recueillis dans les Parages de la Nouvelle-Zemble (1910). 28 pp., two tables, map. Finally, a part on bryozoaires was published (written by O. Nordgaard), which is not uncommon, but not included. A few wrappers a bit worn; one with marginal repairs; a few stamps on preliminaries, otherwise an excellent set.
