RARE PRIVATELY ISSUED MEMOIR of hunting and fishing in Maine and New Brunswick, apparently one of only a few copies printed for friends. The work is divided into three chapters - Fishing at Camp Caribou 1909; Hunting at Camp Caribou 1910; & Hunting the Moose 1911. The photographs include scenes of travel and camp life, deer hunting and trout fishing, cabin interiors, and a moose hunt. Camp Caribou was the principal lodge of the Parmachenee Club. Inscribed "For Hugh McIlvain, with best wishes for a happy birthday from his Nephew, Joshua W. Atlee, June 7, 1913" and also signed beneath the preface. Heller 2:942
