Canada: Various, 1975. This is a collection of 12 books put together in a box lot with one missing "The Golden Dog" by William Kirby, Toronto, McClelland & Stewart. The box itself has bumped corners and edges that are bare and missing chunks, and the lid is ripped on the front corner. Half the lid hinge is ripped off from the box. There are a few stains and marks on the box. The books within are.# 2.Les Anciens Canadiens by Philippe Aubert De Gaspe, is in French, ISBN 0-7755-0201-4 published 1975. is in almost new condition. Page 115 has a stain that could be original kind of an ink splotch. The front paper back cover sits up when laying flat. #3 is The Clockmaker, Author Thomas C. Haliburton , in English, ISBN 0-7710-9106-0 published 1958, is in almost new condition. A few dents along the edges and corners. #4 is Chez Nous, Author Adjutor Rivard ISBN, 0-7757-2353-3 1975, In French this book is as new. #5 The Imperialist by Sara Jeannette Duncan, ISBN 0-7710-9120-6, 1971 has a few small spots missing the top layer on the front edges. otherwise book is as new. #6 Trente Arpents by Ringuet, is in French ISBN 0-7755-0404-1, 1971 has a bump on the front edge of the cover and the cover sits up when laying flat, otherwise as new. #7 Fruits of the Earth by Frederick P. Grove, ISBN 0-7710-9149-4, 1965 Has gently bumped corners but is otherwise as new. #8 La Petite Poule D'eau by Gabrielle Roy, 1975, no ISBN. the hinge is crinkled, otherrwise book is as new. #9 They Shall Inherit the Earth, by Morley Callaghan 1969, ISBN 0-7710-9133-8, has a bumped front bottom corner that is creased, and the back top corner near the spine has a cut that is over the edge and has some small chunks missing. There are a few white spots across the cover where the top layer has been taken off. #10 Au Pied de la Pente Douce by Roger Lemelin 1967, ISBN 7753-0078-0 has a bump on the bottom front cover and gently bumped spine ends that have some small chunks missing. #11 Return of the Sphinx by Hugh MacLennan, 1972, ISBN 0-7705-0255-5. has a couple of price stickers on the front cover and a patch that is faded. The cover sits up when laying flat. #12 La Guerre, yes sir! by Roch Carrier 1970, is still in plastic and sealed in. It is a bit wavy.
