Fifteen indexed maps in colour, including endpapers. All fold-out maps intact and without tears. Fifty-four indexed sketches in text. Thirteen indexed unpaginated plates of 48 historical bw photographs and colour plates, including frontis. Original tissue guard laid in at frontis. Cartographic endpapers. Prev owner stamp on top edge of text block. Red cloth w goldstamp emblem to cover, gold lettering to spine. Light bumping to corners, head and tail. Light surface scuff to bottom corners and tail. Binding square and sound. DJ shows light surface wear, shallow chipping and creasing to top edges and head, 3.5cm chip to bottom front edge, and wear to corners. DJ now preserved in BroDart cover. Small quarto: 252 x 178mm
