I Chromolith title page One of the first seriuos botanical works published in Canada ; it's known for both the excellent botanical descriptions b y Traill & the illustrations by Agnes Fitzgibbon. First published in Jan of 1869 - with 1868 imprint on title page it was an instant success selling out the first print run by March 1869.
