Among the contents of this issue of the French cultural journal Canal are an unpublished scene by Ionesco; and articles on the relationship between typography and experimental writing such as visual and concrete poetry; Japanese and Soviet cinema; the presentation in Paris of the Houston Grand Opera's production of Porgy and Bess; and underground comics.
