Whitney Museum of American Art. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1990. First Edition. Hardcover. Signed by both author and illustrator on the edition page. Limited to 160 copies. Steinberg initialled and numbered the first woodcut. Both woodcuts have tissue guards. Hard cover published by Whitney Museum of American Art in 1990. No dust jacket nor a slipcase. Gold colored covers with black morocco spine, and gilt lettering on spine. Front cover has two small stains near bottom. There are 16 tipped-in offset lithographs. Also included is a signed letter from Joanne Cassullo, who helped establish the American Journal Series, and who is mentioned on the edition page. Book is in very good condition.
