Gilt decorated brown cloth with a black and white illustrated frontis. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Moderate tanning to pages with heavier foxing and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Slight dog-eared pages throughout and rough cut edges to text block. Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting and cracks to guttering with exposed netting. Binding is loose. Boards have visible ink marks and rubbing. Moderate edge wear and bumping to corners. Major crushing to spine ends and visible rubbing to spine. There is fraying to cloth at corners and spine ends.
