Hardcover. Good. FIRST EDITION] New York & London: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1924. Hardcover in titled and decorated dust jacket. 1st edition, 1st. printing. Measures 9 x 6-1/2 inches, 143 pages illustrated with 4 photogravures of Cuban mahogany trees. Bound in gilt lettered and decorated green cloth boards, t.e.g. Walter Dwight Wilcox (1869-1949) American author, photographer and explorer who did photography for the National Geographic Society, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, etc. In about good only condition with bleaching and warping to boards and some occasional soiling to text, loosening of binding. Jacket about good with edge-tears with chipping, light stain on front panel. Photogravures however are in very good condition and there are no torn pages, no ownership markings, and NOT EX-LIBRARY.
