Very good in a poor dust jacket. Green cloth with a four color illustration on the front board of old windmill. Very slight fading to green cloth at spine ends where jacket is chipped. Owner's name on front endpaper, some spotting to foredge of page block.The jacket is heavily taped and much of the spine is missing, although most of the title is present, and the price ($1.00) and publisher's name are present at the bottom of the spine. Rear panel of the jacket has publisher's ad for Visitor's Editions of works by Thoreau, Hawthorne, Longfellow, and others.
Sinopsis
Thoreau's account of his travels and explorations on Cape Cod is considered his most genial book, and one of his most appealing. Published in 1865 after his death, Thoreau's CAPE COD remains an indispensable guide to the area.
