Sobre este artículo

Boston, MA: Russell Streeter, Press of the Universalist, 1833. 9 x 15 cm. Introduction to Second Edition notes tremendous interest in Universalist Public in these letters. First letter is a blistering one to Rev. J.R. Cushing of Boxborough. The next to Rev. Mr. Rogers of Townsend asks about his use of ""Total depravity"" and notes that author was a professor of religion before Rogers was born. Third letter is to Rev. Mr. Albro of Fitchburg is also quite critical. Fourth letter to Rev. Mr. Howe of Pepperell is scathingly critical as well. Fifth letter is to Rev. George Fisher of Harvard, Mass. starts out with compliments, then blasts away. Sixth letter is to Rev. Mr. Chickering of Bolton, MA in which he asks ""my dear young friend"" why he rails against Popery. His seventh letter is to Rev. John Todd of Groton, also critical. His final letter is to Rev. Hope Brown of Shirley, MA, and Streeter concludes he is against these four-day meetings, and appears to be much against Calvinism. Paper on board, spine quite worn and torn, cover scuffed and worn, rear inner hinge cracked, fair. . Catalogs: Religious.
